Registration on CSR Exchange portal can be done by the NGO (also termed as implementing agency) or the company. There are few prerequisites which have to be assured before registering on the CSR exchange portal like the NGO should be registered on MCA portal under CSR. The National CSR Exchange Portal is a government of India initiative to create an interactive platform for CSR stakeholders. The National CSR Exchange Portal will function as an e-marketplace for PAN India social welfare projects. where stakeholders such as NGOs can list their ongoing projects and companies can choose projects for CSR Spending based on their preferences.
