Process of ISI Certification for Manufacturers

Step-1: Creation of user account

The first step is to finish the online registration, which requires applicants to provide relevant information and upload proof of their business address.

Step-2: Application submission

Applicants are required to fill and submit their application form online and attach all the relevant documents for further inspection and queries with BIS licensing authorities.

Step-3: Inspection & Testing

Upon submission of the application, BIS will review the application. If everything will be upto the standard, they'll conduct the factory audit and send the sample to a BIS recognized laboratory for testing.

Step-4: Issuance of Certificate

Once the passed test report is received from the laboratory and reviewed by BIS, the license will be issued. The registration is initially granted for 1 year and must be renewed before its due date.
