No reply process can promise perfect accuracy, eliminate every rejection or guarantee trademark acceptance. This checklist helps an applicant discuss quality controls and service scope; it is not evidence of a completed LIQUETAX client matter.
Match the draft to the application
Check the applicant identity, application number, mark, class and goods or services against the official record. Identify statements that need confirmation instead of treating a polished draft as proof that its facts are correct.
Review the evidence trail
For each factual assertion, identify the supporting record, its relevance and any uncertainty. Ask why an attachment is being included. Retain the final authorised wording and ensure it matches the version actually filed.
Confirm the date and filing record
The examination response period in Rule 33 is receipt-based and expressed as one month, not a universal 30-day count. Keep the report, receipt details and submission acknowledgement together. The Registrar decides the application; a reply is not registration. [S14]
What work does the quote include?
- Assessment of the examination report and available evidence.
- Drafting and the agreed revision or approval process.
- Submission and acknowledgement handover.
- Whether later correspondence, hearings or other proceedings are separate.
Ask the provider to confirm the actual inclusions, exclusions and charges in writing. The questions here are proposed preparation checks, not a claim that a named professional has reviewed your case.
Official references and their limits
- IP India: Trade Marks Rules 2017, Rule 33 ↗
Case-specific receipt, orders and later amendments require review; one calendar month is not invariably 30 days. No reply guarantees acceptance.
Older guidance must be read with subsequent changes. Reachability of a reference is not proof that it answers your particular case.
